The previous week (October 14 to October 18) of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo commenced with the continuation of the intense acting showdown among esteemed actors Cherry Pie Picache, John Estrada, and Mercedes Cabral as their characters – Marites, Rigor, and Lena – got into a three-way fight. Already irritated by Lena’s incessant nagging him to choose her and their upcoming baby over his legitimate family and job, Rigor finally made the decision of kicking her out of their house.

Of course, Lena pinned the blame anew on Marites and attacked her, but the latter astonishingly fought back and slapped her hard. Lena tried to plead to Rigor for one last time yet to no avail as he already made up his mind, so she was left with no choice but to pack her things up.

Just when the Dimaguibas and the people around them thought that they already got rid of the “jumper,” Lena fortunately found a room that she could rent at the Dimaculangan residence. Since they were looking for extra income, Marcing (Pen Medina) and Nita (Susan Africa) accepted her into their home, which is just across the Dimaguiba’s and could be seen from their window.

Lena might have been already evicted at their house, but it was obviously not yet enough to fix the problems of the Dimaguiba family. Rigor continued to incense viewers with his being self-righteous and gaslighter, particularly towards Marites, which finally made her come to her senses and mull over breaking up with Rigor to focus more on herself and her children. And this surely brought joy to the audiences, who have been waiting for a very long time for this moment to happen.

Following the heinous massacre of the Caballeros, Tanggol and his group plotted to seize control of Don Facundo’s (Jaime Fabregas) drug lab and stag bar. While Berting (Joey Marquez) was not in favor of it since it can put their lives on the line, Amanda (Lorna Tolentino) told them that she’s still game to help them out even though it’s going to be difficult and dangerous based on her own experience before.

However, what could have been a promising partnership between the two groups was ruined by Divina (Rosanna Roces), who also got interested to the drug trafficking business that they’re planning to pursue. Tension erupted between the groups of Tanggol and Primo over Divina’s unbelievable demand in their business, which was made worse when she relayed to everyone what she uncovered about Amanda’s past.

In the end, Tanggol opted to side with Divina rather than Amanda, which made Primo and his group ultimately decide to sever ties with him. Even though it was hard for them to leave Tanggol, they still went on with it because Primo believed that Tanggol will eventually realize that he’s making the wrong decision of putting his complete trust on people he just known. They agreed to seek refuge at Berting’s place.

Led by Madonna (Kim Domingo), the groups of Tanggol and Divina, on the other hand, then headed to the secret hideout and armory of Don Facundo that they’re going to use in their next operations. They went on to huddle again at Don Facundo’s hideout, wherein Tanggol proposed that they would only sell drugs to the rich people, while donate a portion of their earnings to the Quiapo populace.

Aside from that, Tanggol has also been mulling over entering the world of pasugalan or gambling in order for them to earn more. Besides, he asked Divina as well for him to get ahold of the “Star of Venus” gem for good luck.

Meanwhile, upon learning about the Montenegros' attack on the Caballeros, Angkong (Joonee Gamboa) turned to his old ally and trusted business partner Mr. Wu (Ricardo Cepeda), who he sent to Hong Kong a long time ago due to his incessant disputes with Ramon (Christopher de Leon). And in his return, Mr. Wu has apparently found a new enemy in Lucio (Ronnie Lazaro), whom he found untrustworthy because he’s not a legit businessman, a member of their family, nor a Chinese like them.

In pursuit of finally claiming his “prize” for his hard work on the Caballeros, David met with Atty. Vera Saldivar (Maika Rivera), who’s the new lawyer in-charge of the fallen family’s estate. While he was delighted to find out that all the properties, bonds, and savings of his wife Katherine (Ara Davao) in the bank, which amounted to around P975 million, will be given to him, he was completely upset when Atty. Saldivar told him that the rest of the Caballeros’ wealth won’t be given to him since Don Facundo and Señora Bettina (Tessie Tomas) failed to transfer those in Katherine’s account before they died.

David attempted to make some moves to the drop-dead gorgeous lawyer, but Atty. Saldivar is smart enough to comprehend what he was doing. She rejected all the advances that he had made towards her and reminded him to keep everything between them professional. He then went straight to a gambling house along with his dependable right-hand, Bullet (Renz Fernandez), where he kept on winning just on his first time playing poker.

After deciding to leave the Caballero rest house, Tindeng (Charo Santos) and Noy (Lou Veloso) went back to Quiapo to seek other opportunities. Tindeng unexpectedly got reunited with her former friend Cecilia (Raquel Villavicencio), who gave them jobs at her hopia-making factory, as well as a place to stay in.

Marites, meanwhile, found herself in hot water again after her persistent admirer, Ramon, was able to orchestrate a grand scheme for him to be able to speak with her anew. We all know how irritated and mad Marites has been at him, so it really surprised her and the viewers alike when she suddenly opened up to Ramon about her family woes. Realizing that it was a huge mistake, Marites immediately walked off until she almost got hit by a car.

Unbeknownst to her, Ramon and his henchmen were tailing her, so he was able to save her from the irate car owner, who instantly folded upon seeing Ramon’s gun resting at his pants’ holster. As Marites thanked him, Ramon told her that he would only accept his gratitude if she’s going to join him eat and agree to talk with him.
