FPJ’s Batang Quiapo: Tanggol beats up Pablo, saves Bubbles

<p>It seemed that the blood of <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/batangquiapo" target="_blank"><em><strong><u>FPJ’s Batang Quiapo</u></strong></em></a> avid viewers once again shot up because of some of the happenings in last week’s (June 10 to June 14) episodes that involved the members of the Dimaguiba family and Rigor’s (John Estrada) arrogant mistress Lena (Mercedes Cabral).</p><p>Following the three-way shootout that took place the previous week, Angkong (Joonee Gamboa) berated Lucio (Ronnie Lazaro) and Roy (Jeffrey Tam) for failing to fulfill their mission of finishing off Ramon (Christopher de Leon) and his troop.</p><p>Ramon, on the other hand, was furious and confused after his second confrontation with the real Tanggol (Coco Martin), so he’s really eager to meet him again to find out not just the whereabouts of Mokang (Lovi Poe), but the truth behind his mysterious identity since he bore the same appearance and trait as him when he was as young.</p><div><ivs-player data-ivs-key="06b9cac5decc13edae3497a22831561a" data-ivs-spid="3001384" data-ivs-vid="3055534"></ivs-player> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>Despite being forbidden by his parents, Edwin (Ping Medina) still went back to their home in San Dimas to visit them and relay to them that he personally saw Alberto (a.k.a. Ramon). Besides, he conveyed to them that he’s a drug lord and that his group is actually the supplier of illegal drugs in Quiapo. Roda (Joel Lamangan) caught them and frantically screamed, which compelled Edwin to throw punches at him and threaten to shoot him.</p><div><ivs-player data-ivs-key="06b9cac5decc13edae3497a22831561a" data-ivs-spid="3001384" data-ivs-vid="3055538"></ivs-player> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>As he reported what just transpired to the <em>barangay </em>officials, not to mention that his big mouth messed up their family’s life, Roda was kicked out by Marcing (Pen Medina) and Nita (Susan Africa) from their house. Thus, Roda asked Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) if he could stay at their house temporarily with the promise of paying her rent. Considering the situation at their home and how Roda treated her family, she declined him, of course, yet her soft heart eventually gave in to his lamentations.</p><p>With Primo (Lito Lapid) being shot and Renan (Lauren Novero) being killed, Berting (Joey Marquez) and Amanda (Lorna Tolentino) couldn’t help but blame and reprimand Tanggol (Coco Martin) for letting his emotions get the best of him. After he left, the group huddled to discuss what occurred during the skirmish and went on to talk about the next measures they would take once Primo gained consciousness.</p><p>Ramon’s confrontation with Tanggol sparked another heated argument between David (McCoy de Leon) and Olga (Irma Adlawan), as he alleged her of having a hand in what just happened, which she denied. She lied to him by saying that she’s actually still searching for Tanggol and reminded David to do his part in the Montenegro family.</p><p>At the Caballero mansion, Pablo went livid upon learning from Pacing (Malou Crisologo) that Tindeng (Charo Santos-Concio) and Noy (Lou Veloso) escorted Bubbles (Ivana Alawi) out of the premises after he attempted to harass her. He then got into an altercation with his Mamita Bettina (Tessie Tomas), as she reprimanded him for taking a “good-for-nothing” woman like Bubbles to their house and introduced her as his girlfriend.</p><div><ivs-player data-ivs-key="06b9cac5decc13edae3497a22831561a" data-ivs-spid="3001384" data-ivs-vid="3056285"></ivs-player> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>But he eventually apologized to Bettina for the nasty words that he said to her during their conversation earlier that day, after he was beaten up by the angry Tanggol for taking advantage of Bubbles and for belittling her in front of everyone when he and his minions went to the bar that evening. Tanggol managed to singlehandedly knock all of them down and fled from the bar with Bubbles.</p><div><ivs-player data-ivs-key="06b9cac5decc13edae3497a22831561a" data-ivs-spid="3001384" data-ivs-vid="3056765"></ivs-player> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>It was not only Tanggol who showed his willingness to fight for Bubbles, but also Baste (Niño Muhlach), who unhesitatingly returned the P15 million that he received from him as payment for the acquisition of the bar.</p><div><ivs-player data-ivs-key="06b9cac5decc13edae3497a22831561a" data-ivs-spid="3001384" data-ivs-vid="3056989"></ivs-player> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>As Rigor and Lena were having dinner, PLT Mario Samonte (Jorel Ramirez) and PLT Luis Jacobe (Victor Silayan) riddled their house with bullets, which prompted him to chase and shoot them but failed to catch them.</p><div><ivs-player data-ivs-key="06b9cac5decc13edae3497a22831561a" data-ivs-spid="3001384" data-ivs-vid="3056992"></ivs-player> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>When quizzed regarding his assumption on who could be responsible behind it, he had nobody in mind but Tanggol since he had the motivation to do so and still believed that he indeed pushed Lena down the stairs. His accusation absolutely irked Marites because she knew that his firstborn would never do it, even though Rigor has been rude to him.</p><p>The quarrels between Marites and Rigor have been incessant, and they had another reason to fight about, which is Roda. As Rigor expressed his objection, Marites told him that she only agreed because she needed extra money for their expenses at home since he equally divided his salary between her and Lena.</p><div><ivs-player data-ivs-key="06b9cac5decc13edae3497a22831561a" data-ivs-spid="3001384" data-ivs-vid="3056995"></ivs-player> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>While his excessive chattiness is irritating enough, he further got into the nerves of Marites after he had the audacity to occupy the bedroom of Marites and Rigor, telling her to find another spot to sleep in and allow him to have some privacy.</p><p>David arrived afterwards and, of course, supported Rigor’s conclusion that it was Tanggol who riddled bullets at their house. Lena added fuel to the fire by relaying to David that his partner Camille (Yukii Takahashi) sided with Tanggol in their issues, which infuriated him and prompted him to berate her.</p><div><ivs-player data-ivs-key="06b9cac5decc13edae3497a22831561a" data-ivs-spid="3001384" data-ivs-vid="3057246"></ivs-player> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>Bubbles brought Tanggol to an eatery to fill their stomachs and to also pacify him. There, Tanggol was able to express his gratitude to her for inspiring and helping him get back on track and, at the same time, apologized for breaking his promise to her not to hold a gun again or to stop avenging Mokang’s death. Even though she’s mad and disappointed at him, Bubbles is still grateful to Tanggol for saving her and getting back at Pablo for her.</p><div><ivs-player data-ivs-key="06b9cac5decc13edae3497a22831561a" data-ivs-spid="3001384" data-ivs-vid="3056995"></ivs-player> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>It was indeed another exciting and action-packed week again for ardent audiences of <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/batangquiapo" target="_blank"><em><strong><u>FPJ’s Batang Quiapo</u></strong></em></a> as we got to see Tanggol and his adoptive father Rigor in action, yet separately.
