<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/batangquiapo" target="_blank">FPJ’s Batang Quiapo</a> remains on a winning streak, as last week’s episodes tallied all-time high viewership records. Here’s a recap of recent trending moments in the teleserye, plus a gallery of photos that reveal the hard work that goes into each scene. In the May 29 episode, which peaked at 372, 825 concurrent online viewers, Greg (RK Bagatsing), and his henchmen, searched through the streets of Quiapo, ordered by his mom, Olga (Irma Adlawan), to kill Tanggol (Coco Martin) before Ramon (Christopher de Leon) discovers his identity as his son. <a href="https://https://ent.abs-cbn.com/batangquiapo/videos/greg-sinaktan-ang-pamilya-ni-tanggol-346496" target="_blank">Greg attacked Tanggol’s family</a>, with Rigor (John Estrada) sustaining gunshot wounds. This provoked Tanggol into a savage crossfire. Big scenes as such involve delicate choreography, thus Coco was extra hands-on. In the album, he’s seen demonstrating what needs to be done and reinventing his action style to surprise viewers. In this narrative, they levelled up the chase by maximizing their location in Quiapo. Visuals plus action and drama! Meanwhile, the May 30 episode, aptly titled “FPJBQGreg,” broke the previous record, as it peaked at 408, 614 all-time high concurrent viewers on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCstEtN0pgOmCf02EdXsGChw" target="_blank">Kapapamilya Online Live </a>on<a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCstEtN0pgOmCf02EdXsGChw" target="_blank"> ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube</a>. It confirmed <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/batangquiapo/videos/ramon-nalaman-ang-sinapit-ni-greg-34654" target="_blank">Greg’s death when Ramon saw the body on his way to Quiapo</a>. And it was a death Olga could never prepare her heart for, making way for a dramatic showcase of Irma’s acting prowess. <a href="https://https://ent.abs-cbn.com/batangquiapo/videos/olga-nagpuyos-sa-galit-nang-malaman-ang-sinapit-ni-greg-346545" target="_blank">Olga had a dream about her son</a> and then erupted into fury upon learning about his fate. Irma felt the punch of Greg’s death in that divine performance of hers. She perfectly depicted the pain of losing a son tragically and not getting the chance to say her last goodbye.
