Venus (Sue Ramirez) didn’t intend to fall in love with Apollo/Tisoy (Richard Gutierrez). She promised that she won’t, knowing that standing close to him could be dangerous. But, could she stop herself from loving a person who holds a special place in her heart? Despite warning herself not to fall, Venus simply can’t help how she truly feels for Apollo. Recall how it all started by watching this Kapamilya Toplist of scenes from The Iron Heart.

Nothing spells destiny than slow-mo moments. You know, the second the world comes to a stop as two people’s lives officially collide? Let’s look back on the pair serendipitously running into each other in a building’s parking area. Venus took a moment to pick up her phone off the floor. When she looked up, the handsome stranger was nowhere to be found.

Their next meeting would pack a literal wallop as he saved her from John (Jeric Raval)’s attempted sexual assault and brought her to a motel to let her rest. Things got hilarious the next morning as she woke up puzzled. She couldn’t deny his effect on her. If not, she wouldn’t be talking about him to her Tatay (Mitoy Yonting), upset, thinking that Apollo is a married man.

The more she gets to know him, the lesser she becomes bent on her treacherous mission for Eros (Jake Cuenca). It dawned on her that Apollo is a good man as her father said. She witnessed his genuine relationship with Lia (Althea Ruedas), as well as his heroism. Any woman would be moved by a man risking his life trying to save her from the bad guys. Venus felt guilty for lying, thus she confessed to Apollo about Eros’ order to spy on him. This started a pact to cover up for one another.

Suddenly, she couldn’t stop thinking about him at night. Their literal closeness would surprisingly feel electrifying. And she couldn’t help herself from wanting to be near him always. If this isn’t love, we don’t know what is.

Love pushed her to be part of his dangerous world with the Apollo 5. She no longer finds his caring ways annoying, rather she finds it sweet. And she’s glad that somebody cares for her the way he does. Venus assured Apollo that she’ll be fine, and if not, he'd be the first person she would call. “’Pag hindi ko na talaga kaya, pangalan mo ang unang isisigaw ko,” she told him.

Love keeps her a bundle of nerves whenever Apollo is out on his missions, scared that he might not come home in one piece. She’s the first person to meet him at the door with an embrace. Also in this list is the low-key ‘kilig’ moment when she scolded him for skipping meals, drawing teases from Poseidon (Pepe Herrera) and Juno (Meryll Soriano).

Although we were just waiting for it to happen, it still caught us surprised when Venus confessed her feelings after Apollo contracted the virus. It was hard to deal with the anxiety, plus her growing feelings. She was scared that she might not see him again. But when caught by Adonis (Ryan Eigenmann)’s contraption, Venus proved that Apollo feels the same. If not, he wouldn’t rush to save her from death. The scene was a big moment for its ‘kilig’ and thrill that put viewers on the edge of their seats.

Romance soared higher when Apollo asked Venus to be safe always as he leaves for his mission. They kissed. They’re absolutely in love, aren’t they?
