Coco’s new persona is in his element when using speed rather than guns to escape trouble. He ran away after snatching the necklace of a female churchgoer. However, he encountered a group of goons en route to his hiding place. In the streets of Manila, one couldn’t trespass over another gang’s territory. These goons challenged Tanggol to a duel, or else he must surrender the stolen necklace. Of course, he wouldn’t give up what he ‘worked hard’ for, leading to an epic riot that looked so raw from all angles. He fought the men without any help.

With Coco in the lead, the ensemble cast is able to showcase their action chops. The next scene shows Christopher de Leon as Ramon in his jailbreak scene. He also delivered all adrenaline-pumping elements in a masterfully-orchestrated chase scene involving the car he was driving and police mobile including that of Rigor (John Estrada), with a handful of gunshots and explosions.

RK Bagatsing, who played Greg, has his entry as well. He was caught in the crossfire with the cops at a checkpoint when he met up with a foreign business partner. Greg must think and move fast to protect the illegal goods, resulting in an engrossing action sequence.

Also on this list is the rumble that transpired at Mokang (Lovi Poe)’s debut. Tanggol’s squad fought with the intruders from Tondo. This time, they did it in style – pastel-colored suits, nice shoes and all. What started as a fun and romantic night ended in total chaos. Adding spice to this scene is the teamwork shown by Tanggol and his brawny friends. Using only their fists and dauntlessness, they managed to knock the enemies down.

The group couldn’t seem to free themselves from scuffles, as they engaged in another gritty fisticuff to defend Mokang from their rude co-worker in the kitchen. The gang used all available equipment to teach the bad guys their lesson.

The series’ action scenes get even better by flaunting the cinematic appeal of Manila streets. The next round of 'Tanggol versus Kidlat (Smugglaz)' fight, for instance, transpired in front of the Quiapo Church when the latter’s group caught their mortal enemy visiting the place. Without his friends, Tanggol fought the gangsters with only his power punches, though he ended with a stab wound courtesy of Kidlat.

The string of problems continued when Tanggol’s ‘tropa’ encountered Greg and Ramon’s group. In the middle of the shootout, the briefcase containing illegal drugs landed on Tanggol, and he took it thinking it has money inside. A big part of Tanggol’s fighting arsenal is his ability to think fast amid danger, which Greg quite lacked.

The explosive match continued when Greg and his henchmen, ordered by his mom Olga (Irma Adlawan), searched through the streets of Quiapo to kill Tanggol before Ramon discovers his identity as his son. Greg attacked Tanggol’s family, with Rigor sustaining gunshot wounds. This provoked Tanggol into a savage crossfire.

Coco and RK spitting threats at each other, set in the streets of Quiapo as background, was nothing short of epic. In this scene, Greg’s team thought they were more powerful and equipped, however, in Quiapo, touch one of their guys and everyone will emerge from the dugout ganging up on you. With the help of their loyal fellow Quiapo kids, Tanggol’s group managed to overpower the intruders.

Tanggol and Greg faced each other in the latter's final sequence. Greg was lying on the ground helpless after sustaining wounds from the wild shootout when Tanggol moved closer to finish him. He refused to listen to Greg’s pleas and killed him in cold blood.

The briefcase was surrendered to Rigor, whose vehicle was ambushed by Ramon’s henchmen in an attempt to take back their illegal items. The result was a terrifying shootout in the streets of Quiapo, which Rigor managed to survive when the backup arrived on time.

In the next scenes, we felt Tanggol’s ‘gigil’ when provoked by the way Mokang was being treated by a perv customer at the club. The lewd club manager Banjo (Eric Fructuoso) got in the mix, but all he got was arrogance and weak fighting skill that was no match for Tanggol’s punches and action-packed moves.

Completing this list is the recent gun battle between Supremo (Lito Lapid) and Augustus (Julio Diaz)’s groups. Tanggol’s squad heard the gunshots near their workplace and decided to come to Supremo and Ben (Mark Lapid)’s aide – because Quiapo kids have this unspoken pact to fight for one another.
