There could only be one queen in Scorpia Bar. So when Mokang (Lovi Poe) entered the place as the new dancer, the OG star Selene (Shanaia Gomez) was threatened. Watch their enticing rivalry via this Friday 5 video from FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.

In the first scene, Selene showed her catty side when she walked into the dressing room and caught Mokang and Chicky (Toni Fowler) talking. She said that newcomers must know their place and learn to shut up, especially when other girls are taking a rest or prepping up in the dressing room. While Mokang was unapologetic, Chicky was confident to send out a sour message.

The show begins! Selene took over to demonstrate the proper moves on the dance floor, something sultry, unlike Mokang’s “parang palaka” style of dancing. As Mokang was drowning in insecurity, Chicky was by her side bringing to their minds their feisty street showdown as little girls where Mokang was the chief dancer.

Part of the job is to entertain high-paying regular customers at the club. Selene turned her beast mode on when Mokang stole the interest of Congressman Sevilla (Jong Cuenca). This would spark another round of dressing room confrontation. This time, Mokang didn’t back down from Selene and it could’ve resulted in a physical warfare had Mama Janet (Janice Jurado) failed to meddle.

Because of her undeniable sultriness, Mokang is becoming the crowd favorite, much to the exasperation of Selene, who humiliated Mokang by bringing up her previous blunder to one of their patrons. The rivalry was brewing hot, so once and for all, the newbie and the hustler agreed to set the stage on fire through a showdown. And in the recent episodes, our girl, Mokang, crushed Selene on the dance floor after getting back up from the latter’s contraption.
