Yukii Takahashi shares 3 things she loves about Camille in FPJ’s Batang Quiapo

For a newbie actress like Yukii Takahashi, it feels quite intimidating to portray a character with struggles that she hasn’t experienced in real life. But, one thing that helped her get into the heart and soul of her character, Camille, in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” is rooting for her and knowing every fiber of her story.

To begin with, she sees the character’s heart. Camille, a college dropout who suffers from the realities of unexpected pregnancy and different forms of abuse from her partner David (McCoy de Leon), comes out on the other side of pain still full of love, especially for the baby in her womb. This is one reason why Yukii has so much admiration for her on-screen persona, “Nalalagpasan niya lahat because of love.”

Her second favorite trait of Camille is her being respectful. That’s why she gets along well with David’s mom Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) and grandmother Tindeng (Charo Santos). Because she respects David’s family, she never judges them based on their attitude, thoughts, and circumstances.

Lastly, she loves Camille’s bright student era. To recall, she was a top student on campus before she fell victim to David’s false promises.
