The cute little girl who used to capture our hearts as Abby, the adorable bunso of the Lim family in <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/bcwmh" target="_blank">Be Careful With My Heart</a> is now all grown-up and has bloomed into a beautiful and fine young lady!Mutya Orquia, who got her screenname from the titular role she played in the first-ever teleserye she topbilled titled <a href="https://https://ent.abs-cbn.com/articles-photos/02090218-throwback-mutya-2011-14523" target="_blank">Mutya</a>, entered the industry at a very young age. In her <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/magandangbuhay" target="_blank">Magandang Buhay</a> guesting in 2017, she revealed that her passion in performing began when she was only three years old. And she was already unstoppable then as she recounted how she would unabashedly show off her dancing skills in a heartbeat whenever and wherever she heard music. At the same time, she was also already eager then to undergo acting workshop.<div><meta charSet="utf-8"/><a href="https://youtu.be/0Zf58KXAi5c">WATCH on Magandang Buhay: Mutya&#x27;s journey to fame</a></div>She further disclosed that her dream to become an artista was enkindled by her fondness of watching entertainment shows on television. One time, she innocently asked her mother if the only thing they need to do was to literally open the television for her to be seen in it, to which her mother honestly replied that she has to audition for her to make it on the small screen. With her parents’ unwavering support, Mutya went on a series of eight auditions within a year, until finally landing her first-ever acting role in the 2010 primetime teleserye Sabel as the young counterpart of the titular character played by Jessy Mendiola.Her career continued to skyrocket at the age of 4 when she was tapped to top-bill the fantaserye <a href="https://https://ent.abs-cbn.com/articles-photos/02090218-throwback-mutya-2011-14523" target="_blank">Mutya</a>, wherein she charmed us as the titular “little mermaid”. After that, she was cast as the young Jade Dimaguiba in 2011’s My Binondo Girl.Mutya then bagged her first-ever entertainment award in 2012 for Best Child Performance in the 4th FMTM Awards for TV Entertainment for her role as Abby Lim in the longest-running daytime teleserye <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/bcwmh" target="_blank">Be Careful With My Heart</a>. Being such a promising young actress, Mutya unrelentingly wows us as she blossoms into the beautiful young lady that she is now.
