MANILA - The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is set to launch in three areas a credit enhancement scheme that aims to help small businesses secure loans.

BSP said the credit surety funds will be launched in Mandaue, Marinduque, and Ilocos Sur.

The credit surety funds is generated by pooling contributions of well-capitalized and well-managed cooperatives and non-government organizations, local government units and partner institutions to help micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
