This brought average growth for the full year to 6.2 percent, the Philippine Statistics Authority said.</p><p>The median forecast from 12 economists in a Reuters poll was for 6.2 percent GDP growth in the fourth quarter.</p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2019/news/01/24/012419_gdp2.jpg"/><figcaption>The economy grew by 6.1 percent in the fourth quarter of 2018, bringing the average growth for the full year to 6.2 percent.
