MANILA—A local commuting app now gives its users an option to meet their friends or even dates at a location convenient to both parties.
Sakay.ph launched its new in-app feature called Sakay Halfway, which suggests a midway point for commuters, along with nearby restaurants, malls, hotels and other establishments.
According to Philip Cheang, Sakay.ph co-founder and CEO, traffic and distance play a big role in maintaining relationships, especially in normally gridlocked Metro Manila.
With Sakay Halfway, users can easily navigate around the metro, making it easier to meet their friends or go on dates.
