MANILA -- More companies are investing in technologies that will help them ride the digital shift, a service provider said Wednesday.

From insurance, capital markets and utilities, Fortune 500 firms have realized that "no one is immune from disruption," said Philip Hazen senior managing director for intelligent platform services for Accenture.

"Now more than ever, the entire C-suite is really focused on how technology can enable their business, both defend against competition and also make them more competitive and release more value in their enterprise," Hazen told ANC's Market Edge.

"Some emerging markets embrace change in technology much faster. I see it pretty balanced around the world," he said.
