MANILA - The Court of Appeals (CA) issued a ruling on Wednesday that effectively upheld Taguig City government’s ownership of the contested 729-hectare Fort Bonifacio property. In an 18-page resolution penned by Associate Justice Edwin Sorongon, the CA’s former Special Sixth Division granted Taguig City&#x27;s motion to dismiss due to forum shopping.The motion was filed by the Taguig City government against Makati City, citing a Supreme Court ruling that found Makati City guilty of forum shopping for filing several pleadings before different courts grounded on the same issues.
