Philippines receives first batch of COVID-19 aid from Jack Ma foundations

MANILA - The first batch of medical supplies donated by Chinese billionaire Jack Ma arrived in the Philippines Friday to support the country&#x27;s fight against COVID-19, his foundations said in a joint statement.The Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia will receive a combined total of 2 million face masks, test kits for 150,000 people, 20,000 protective suits and 20,000 face shields, the Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation said in a joint statement.&quot;We hope the donations will help the Philippines to protect against COVID-19.
