Globe sets maintenance works in some areas

MANILA -- Globe Telecom said Wednesday it scheduled maintenance works from April to December in some areas, which could be hit with temporary service interruptions.The technical works, which could take 5 hours to complete for a single area, will take place in several barangays and sitios, the Ayala led telco said.Globe did not specify which areas will be affected.&quot;We need to ensure the reliability of our network equipment to continue providing quality experience to our customers, especially in the rural areas,&quot; Globe&#x27;s chief technology and information officer Gil Genio said. Globe said it would notify affected wireless broadband customers via SMS prior to the scheduled maintenance activities.
