Active military personnel to get free MRT 3 rides: DOTr

<p>MANILA - All active military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) will be entitled to free rides at the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 starting April 25, the transportation department said on Monday.</p><p>Active AFP personnel can avail of the free ride by showing their AFP identification cards, which will also serve as their access pass, Department of Transportation (DOTr) secretary Arthur Tugade said in a statement.</p><p>The free train ride is a way of recognizing the sacrifices of the military, he said. </p><p>“Isa sa pinakamahirap na tungkulin ang maging sundalo.
