MANILA - The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) on Monday said depositors of the shuttered GSIS Family Bank have until May 13 to file their claims for insured deposits.The central bank ordered the closure of GSIS Family Bank on May 13, 2016. The PDIC said its Charter provides that depositors have two years from bank closure to file their deposit insurance claims. Bank depositors may visit the PDIC Public Assistance Center in Makati City, or file their claims through mail addressed to the PDIC Public Assistance Department. Insurance claims for 358 deposit accounts amounting to P11.3 million have yet to be filed by depositors, the PDIC said.
