Huawei promises 'entertainment machine' under P6,000

<p>MANILA - Huawei is making a case for an entertainment-centered phone at under P6,000 after launching the photography-centered P20 last March.</p><p>The 2018 edition of the Huawei Y6 comes with a 5.7-inch full view display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 3,000 mAh battery and Android 8.0 Oreo overlaid with the company&#x27;s EMUI skin.</p><p>While it does not have a fingerprint sensor, the Y6 has face unlock. The horizontal placement of the rear camera lens in the same module as the flash makes it appear like it has dual cameras.</p><p>The phone runs fast, but not as fluid as flagship devices. While the screen is bright, images lack sharpness. All of which, are expected from a sub-P10,000 phone.</p><p>The rear camera, however, is a surprise. While lacking the punchy colors of the P20, images retained much detail even in overcast weather. </p><p>Users though will need to keep their hands steady to limit noise.
