Huawei devices to 'function properly' under its network, Globe says

MANILA - Globe Telecom on Tuesday gave fresh assurances to customers that Huawei devices would continue to function properly on its network.
The US Department of Commerce gave Huawei a 90-day temporary authority or until August to purchase American hardware and software.
Google announced on Monday that it was suspending some business with Huawei, in compliance with US President Donald Trump's executive order. Huawei phones run on Google's Android software.
"We assure our customers that their existing Huawei devices will continue to function properly using the Globe network," the Filipino carrier said.
