He was previously named presidential adviser on economic affairs and information technology communications.The 74-year-old official replaced former DICT Undersecretary Eliseo Rio Jr., whose resignation was accepted by President Rodrigo Duterte last week.<ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/business/05/22/20/duterte-accepts-resignation-of-dicts-eliseo-rio">Duterte accepts resignation of DICT&#x27;s Eliseo Rio</a></li></ul>Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque said Jacinto would serve as DICT undersecretary until May 22, 2022. Jacinto campaigned for Duterte in the 2016 elections.&quot;We are confident that Usec.
