Employees responsible for the fraud have been terminated. The BPI earlier said linking the Philippine banks to the international scandal could likely be a &quot;<a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/business/06/23/20/bpi-sees-cover-up-in-wirecard-puzzle-that-dragged-philippine-banks">cover up</a>.&quot;The National Bureau of Investigations and the Anti-Money Laundering Council are currently investigating the scandal, Diokno said.
