MANILA - Cebuana Lhuillier on Thursday said it has launched a new service that allows clients to send money using its website and its app as financial transactions shift to digital amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The pawnshop chain operator said clients can send money through its eCebuana app which uses the Bangko Sentral’s Instapay system.

The eCebuana app has more than 350,000 downloads and will be fitted with more features such as online pawn renewal.
