(AGAP).&quot;Yong pagmahal ng feeds, definitely tumaas ang cost. Last 14 months, mayroon kaming oversupply kaya mababa ang itlog kahit mahal noon ang mga ingredients. Ngayon, ang problema ngayon, dahil doon sa nagkalugi-lugi ‘yong mga layer farm owner, marami ang tumigil,&quot; sabi naman ni AGAP Party-list Rep. Nicanor Briones.&quot;Kulang na nga, tinatamaan pa ng bird flu, kaya naniniwala ako na malaki ang magiging kakulangan ng itlog,&quot; dagdag niya.Sa datos ng grupo, umabot nang 35 porsiyento ang oversupply ng itlog noong mga nakaraang buwan kaya may ilang tumigil sa pag-alaga ng layers.Nasa P4 ang farm-gate price ng itlog noong mga nakaraang buwan pero P6 na ito ngayon.Sa Mega Q Mart sa Quezon City, tumaas na rin ang presyo ng itlog.Nasa P3 ang patong sa kada tray ng itlog na may 30 piraso.Naglalaro naman sa P5.90 hanggang P7.20 ang kada piraso ng itlog, depende sa laki.Ayon sa retailer na si Dionisio Carpiciano, nagtaas ng presyo ang kanilang supplier mula Batangas.&quot;Sabi naman mataas ang feeds. Pakaunti-kaunti rin ang suplay ng itlog,&quot; aniya.Pinag-aaralan naman ng Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) ang magiging epekto sa suplay ng itlog ng pagtama ng bird flu sa ilang layer farm sa Central Luzon.Ayon kay BAI Director Reildrin Morales, karamihan sa mga kaso ay mula sa nasabing rehiyon, na pinamakalaking producer ng itlog at nagsu-supply sa ibang panig ng bansa.&quot;Karamihian noong mga tinamaan na mga layer farms ay walang biosecurity,&quot; ani Morales.Ayon pa kay Briones, kapos ang indemnity na natatanggap ng mga magmamanok na naaapektuhan ng bird flu kaya may mga takot i-report ang mga kaso sa kanilang lugar.Nasa P100 kada manok ang kasalukuyang indemnification sa mga tinamaan ng bird flu, ayon sa BAI.Humingi na ng karagdagang indemnification fund ang BAI sa Department of Agriculture para sa mga inilalakad na claim ng mga apektadong farm owner.<ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/video/news/07/11/22/state-of-emergency-pinadedeklara-para-sa-inaasahang-food-crisis">Pagdeklara ng state of emergency, hinimok para sa inaasahang food crisis</a></li></ul>
