MANILA - Officials of the Department of Trade and Industry along with the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) on Wednesday signed the implementing rules and regulations of the Ease of Doing Business law.

The IRR was signed over a year after the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 or Republic Act 11032, was signed into law in May last year. RA 11032 amends the Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007.

The law, which aims to make government transactions faster, is expected to be fully implemented within the next 2 years with the signing of the IRR, ARTA Deputy Director General Ernesto Perez said during the ceremony.
