<p>MANILA - Another 100-basis points interest rate hike by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas is unlikely to hurt the Philippines&#x27; economic recovery, an analyst said Tuesday.</p><p>The central bank earlier announced an off-cycle 75-bps interest rate hike which brought the key policy rate to 3.25 percent after inflation in June shot up to 6.1 percent.</p><p>A 100-bps hike will bring the overnight borrowing rate to over 4.25 percent.</p><p>&quot;We’re looking at at least 100 bps that would bring it up to above 4 percent on the policy rate.
