MANILA - San Miguel Brewery booked a net income of P13.3 billion in the first six months of the year, higher by 12.4 percent compared to the same period in 2018, the company said Tuesday. The brewing unit of San Miguel Corporation said revenues grew 12.4 percent to P70.3 billion during the January-to-June period, driven by higher volumes and the company&#x27;s move to sell more products abroad. SMB said its operations in Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia posted higher revenues and operating incomes.SMC earlier said it was investing some $650 million to further grow its local and international breweries and bottling plants.
