The Securities and Exchange Commission and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas said on Monday that Axie Infinity isn’t required to register with them right now, but they are closely monitoring the game if it grows in popularity.

Such measures are intended to educate end-users of the risks associated with acquisition and trading of virtual assets, the cybersecurity procedures for safeguarding their digital wallets, the fees related to the use of the platforms and the problem resolution procedures.”
