MANILA - San Miguel Corporation&#x27;s unsolicited proposal to transform the Pandacan Oil Depot into a bus terminal and a food hub is already in the &quot;final stage&quot; of evaluation, SMC President Ramon Ang said Wednesday.The Philippines&#x27; largest corporation earlier submitted a plan to the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to build at least 300 bus bays, a cold storage facility and market in Manila&#x27;s old oil hub to decongest EDSA.DOTr is in the &quot;final stage of evaluating the proposal,&quot; Ang told reporters in a press conference in Tondo.&quot;I believe Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte and DOTR love the idea at gusto nilang gawin,&quot; he said, noting that the hub can be constructed within 2 years.The proposed bus terminal is not expected to generate more chokepoints in the capital city, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno said.Buses will enter and exit the through fly overs that are being constructed in the northern and southern portions of the city, he said.&quot;It will never have a traffic congestion.
