The Philippines&#x27; largest fast-food chain opened a store in Manhattan on Oct. 27, 2018. <em>Photo from Jollibee US Facebook page</em></figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA – Jollibee Foods Corp is exploring the possibility of introducing other Filipino food products to the global market such as Adobo rice, its CEO said Friday. </p><p>Adobo rice, or the fusion of marinated chicken or pork and the staple grain, has the potential to become an international favorite similar to “halo-halo” and Jollibee’s peach mango pie, JFC CEO Ernesto Tanmantiong said during a business forum in Pasig City.</p><p>Adobo rice is currently being “introduced” in Jollibee in Manhattan in the US and may soon be available in other branches outside the Philippines, Tanmantiong said. </p><p>“We’re actually introducing adobo rice in Jollibee stores outside the Philippines. We have done that in Manhattan and it also goes well with chicken joy. And we started to notice that even non-Filipinos love it,” Tanmantiong said. </p><p>“So there might be a chance.
