MANILA - Cebu Pacific on Wednesday launched CEB Flexi, the country&#x27;s first flight add-on that allows passengers to rebook until 2 hours before departure for a fee.CEB Flexi aims to address &quot;pain points&quot; of passengers who miss their flights due to emergencies, failed visa and leave applications, traffic or bad weather, Cebu Pacific vice president for Marketing and Customer Experience Candice Iyog said.Passengers, especially those with advanced bookings availed during Piso fare events, can take advantage of the feature, she said.&quot;Every time we have a super seat sale, we received this feedback from our customers... so we said how can we give passengers more control over their booking so that when they are booking for 12 months in advance they can have a little more comfort with making that booking,&quot; Iyog said.When availed during booking as an add-on, passengers will be able to rebook their flights up to 2 times and until 2 hours before departure for a minimal fee, the country&#x27;s largest carrier said.Starting Oct. 22, CEB Flexi will be available as an add-on when booking flights online or through the mobile app for P499 to 1,099 or 60 percent cheaper from the regular rebooking fee of P1,500 to P2,800.&quot;Now when you book up to 12 months ahead and you&#x27;re not sure if your leave will be approved, if you wont be able to take a flight or you&#x27;re not sure pa if everybody will be available that time, you can opt to get a CEB Flexi service so that you have that option to rebook it later on,&quot; she added.<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2019/business/10/16/candice.jpg"/><figcaption>Cebu Pacific vice president for Marketing and Customer Experience Candice Iyog during a press briefing in Makati City. Jessica Fenol, ABS-CBN News</figcaption></figure></div>The feature applies to local and international flights for both promo and regular fares, the country&#x27;s largest carrier said.Tickets purchased with the flexi add on will be automatically eligible for up to 2 rebookings for the same route. Passengers still need to pay the price difference for the rebooked flights, Iyog said.Cebu Pacific engaged some 5,000 flyers to come up with and test consumer-led features such as the CEB Flexi, she said.Filipinos seeking bargains take advantage of seat sale events.
