NEDA board confirms ICC approval of 7 new projects worth P187.34B

<p>MANILA - The National Economic and Development Authority on Friday said its board confirmed the Investment Coordination Committee&#x27;s approval of 7 new projects worth P187.34 billion on Nov. 29.</p><p>The newly approved list of projects includes the Davao Public Transport Modernization Project, Unsolicited Proposal for the New Bohol Panglao International Airport, and the Unsolicited Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) Proposal for the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, NEDA said in a statement. </p><p>&quot;This shows that the administration is committed to develop growth centers in the regions and maximize the economic benefits of connectivity of communities,&quot; Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Ernesto Pernia said.</p><p>The other 4 projects are the Pasacao-Balatan Coastal Tourism Highway, Samal Island-Davao City Connector (SIDC) Project, and Camarines Sur High-Speed Highway and the Development Objective Assistance Agreement (DOAg): Improved Health for Underserved Filipinos of the DOH.</p><p>The NEDA Board also confirmed the Investment Coordination Committee&#x27;s approval of the increase in cost and change in scope of the Mindanao Railway Project - Tagum-Davao-Digos segment to P81.69 billion, the statement said. </p><figure class="op-interactive"><iframe height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/6h2RjBbG0OI?enablejsapi=1" width="560"></iframe></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div>
