You increase the price of diesel, our cost of operation will increase, therefore we are pressured now to increase the prices of our products,&quot; ayon kay Buboy Valerio, executive director ng Industrial Group of Zamboanga.</p><p>Ayon naman sa Southern Philippines Deep Sea Fishing Association (SOPHIL), hindi pa nila matiyak kung magkano ang itataas ng presyo ng sardinas pero higit kalahati ng kanilang operational expenses ang napupunta sa diesel.</p><p>Malaki rin umano ang itataas ng presyo ng raw material na tamban.</p><p>“The bottomline, the consumers will really suffer for the consequence,&quot; ani Roberto Baylosis, executive vice president ng SOPHIL. </p><p>Ikinalungkot naman ito ng ilang consumer na nakasanayan nang bumili ng sardinas dahil sa mura at madaling ihain.</p><p>Bukod sa sardinas, posible ring tumaas ang presyo ng iba pang pangunahing bilihin.</p><p>Maaari rin umanong humirit ng dagdag na sahod ang mga manggagawa.</p><p>Tiniyak naman ng mga canning at fishing company na hindi sila magtatanggal ng mga manggagawa kahit pa tumaas ang kanilang operational expenses.</p><div><strong>-- Ulat ni RJ Rosalado, ABS-CBN News</strong></div>
