Citicore taps Levanta as partner for PH wind investments

<div><br/></div><p>MANILA - Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation is partnering wth Levanta Renewables to work on wind projects in the Philippines. </p><p>In a statement, Citicore said the partnership will involve 4 onshore wind projects in Luzon and Visayas with a total capacity of 375 megawatts.</p><p>Citicore President Oliver Tan said the projects will be located in Iloilo, Camarines Sur, Pangasinan, and Bataan.</p><style type="text/css" id="isPasted">

</style><p>&quot;We view them not only as a financial partner but more of a strategic partner,&quot; Tan said of Levanta on ANC&#x27;s Market Edge.</p><p>&quot;They will bring in their technical know-how as they have several operating wind projects already in the region. This will further complement our local knowledge and engineering know-how,&quot; he added.</p><p>Tan said it will be a 50-50 joint venture for wind projects that don&#x27;t involve land ownership, but Levanta will bring in only 40 percent for projects where there is land ownership.</p><style type="text/css" id="isPasted">
