MANILA - Several banks said some of their branches will remain closed Friday, Oct. 25 due to the effects of Tropical Storm Kristine. Many of the temporarily closed branches are in areas hard-hit by Kristine. The banks said their online channels remain available, but some ATMs in storm-ravaged areas may be offline.

Bank of the Philippine Islands said some of its branches in Luzon are closed Friday. For the full list of open branches clients can visit, BPI said users may check their website.

BDO Unibank also advised clients to check their website for a list of branches that are not open today. All other branches remain open, BDO said. Its digital channels also remain open.

Land Bank of the Philippines also advised that some of its branches are closed while some are operating on shortened banking hours, today. Landbank advises clients to check this link for the full list of its bank schedule today. "Meantime, LANDBANK's digital banking channels and ATMs are fully operational to serve as your alternative banking channels," the state-owned bank said.

Rizal Commercial Banking Corp also advised that due to the inclement weather, some RCBC branches will be either temporarily closed or will have shortened banking hours today, for the safety of its clients and employees. The bank also advised that they may continue transacting through RCBC Pulz app.

Philippine National Bank has provided a list of its open branches today, accessible on its website.

Security Bank meanwhile provided a web-based tool for checking which of its branches are open.
