<p>MANILA - Sky’s cable TV service will continue beyond February 26, the company said on Thursday.</p><p>Subscribers will not be billed for the cable TV service from January 26 to March 15, Sky said in a statement. </p><p>“You need not pay for your cable subscription from January 26 to March 15, 2024,” the company reiterated.</p><p>Sky Cable also said it did not disconnect its cable subscribers last January 26, which means that subscribers just need to reconnect their TV boxes to continue cable access. </p><ul class="op-related-articles"><li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/business/2024/2/22/sky-cable-pldt-deal-not-pushing-through-816">Sky Cable, PLDT deal not pushing through</a></li></ul><div><br/></div><p>Sky Cable will provide free access until March 15, 2024 and will only resume billing subscribers on March 16, the company said. </p><p>Meanwhile, subscribers to the bundled service of Sky Cable and Sky Fiber prior to January 26 will see their subscription plan continue and will be billed accordingly. </p><p>Sky said subscribers to the bundled service who wish to convert to a standalone Sky Fiber plan are requested to message Sky through its 24/7 virtual assistant, KYLA at mysky.com.ph/message-us. </p><p>Sky Fiber subscribers meanwhile will continue to enjoy their internet service as their subscription is not affected.</p><ul class="op-related-articles"><li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/business/2024/2/22/abs-cbn-corp-statement-on-sky-cable-pldt-deal-921">ABS-CBN Corp statement on Sky Cable, PLDT deal</a></li></ul><div><br/></div><p>Sky Cable said its subscribers will have continued access to various ABS-CBN programs and channels.</p><p>Subscribers can still watch the Kapamilya Channel, Cinemo, Metro, MYX, Jeepney TV, Teleradyo Serbisyo, ANC and Cinema One, among others.</p><p>ABS-CBN Corp said on Thursday the sale of its interest in Sky Cable Corp to PLDT Inc will no longer push through.</p><p>In a disclosure to the stock exchange, ABS-CBN Corp said the move has been mutually decided by both parties.</p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img alt="Sky" src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2024/news/02/22/sky.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></figure></div><div> </div>
