Converge offers 1Gbps speed, boosts lowest plan to 300 Mbps

<p>MANILA -- Converge is offering faster speed for subscribers of its fiber internet plans.</p><p>In a statement, the company said subscribers of their FiberX 1500 plan now have an internet speed of 300 Mbps, from the previous 200 Mbps.</p><p>Subscribers of FiberX Plan 2000 now have 500 Mbps, while those on FiberX Plan 2500 now have 700 Mbps speed.</p><p>Meanwhile, those who have FiberX Plan 3500 will now have a 1 Gbps connection.</p><p>Subscribers of Converge&#x27;s Time of Day plans also get a speed boost, which will give them double their subscribed bandwidth from 7 a.m. to 6:59 p.m. for the Day Plan, and from 7 p.m. to 6:59 a.m. for the Night Plan.</p><p>Gamers who have Converge&#x27;s GameChanger subscribers also get a speed boost of at least 500 Mbps up to 1 Gbps.</p><p>The speed increase is effective until March 31.
