<p>MANILA -- At least one million plastic cards for driver&#x27;s licenses were delivered to the Land Transportation Office (LTO) on March 25 after the <span id="isPasted" style="color:rgb(65, 65, 65);letter-spacing:normal;orphans:2;text-align:left;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;widows:2;word-spacing:0px;-webkit-text-stroke-width:0px;white-space:normal;background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);text-decoration-thickness:initial;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-color:initial;display:inline !important;float:none">Court of Appeals (CA) lifted the injunction against its delivery. </span></p><p>The LTO welcomed a Court of Appeals (CA) decision to lift the writ of preliminary injunction against the delivery of 3 million plastic cards, hailing it is a victory for the Filipino people.</p><p>The Quezon City Regional Trial Court earlier issued a writ of preliminary injunction after losing bidder Allcards Inc. filed a case.</p><p>AllCards lost the bid to supply around 5.2 million pieces of plastic cards in 2023.</p><p>But by the time the writ of preliminary injunction was issued, winning bidder <span id="isPasted" style="color:rgb(65, 65, 65);letter-spacing:normal;orphans:2;text-align:left;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;widows:2;word-spacing:0px;-webkit-text-stroke-width:0px;white-space:normal;background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);text-decoration-thickness:initial;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-color:initial;display:inline !important;float:none">Banner Plastics Card Inc.</span> had already delivered 2 million pieces of plastic cards.</p><p>This prompted the LTO, through the Office of the Solicitor-General, to bring the case to the Court of Appeals, saying this &quot;will have a big impact on millions of Filipino motorists.&quot;</p><div><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/08/18/23/lto-order-stopping-delivery-of-drivers-license-cards-a-temporary-setback" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">LTO: Court order to stop delivery of driver&#x27;s license cards a &#x27;temporary setback&#x27;</a></div><p>In a decision penned by Associate Justice Jose Lorenzo R. Dela Rosa and concurred by Associate Justices Nina G.
