(UPDATED) Social media users complained of being logged out of their Facebook, Messenger and Instagram accounts late Tuesday (Manila time) in an apparent glitch affecting Meta properties.
Based on posts on X (formerly Twitter), users started reporting being logged out of their accounts around 11:30 p.m., with some users in the Philippines wondering if their Facebook accounts have been hacked.
Other Meta properties including Instagram and Messenger also suffered glitches.
Users reported being automatically logged out of their accounts, and are unable to log back in.

The hashtags #FacebookDown, #InstagramDown, and #Meta are among the top trending topics in X in the Philippines as of 11:50 p.m.
In a post on X, Meta Communications Director Andy Stone acknowledged the ongoing issues experienced by users on their applications and assured that they are actively addressing the problem.
Access to Facebook was restored past midnight, Philippine time, for some users.
We're aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now.
