Benise Balaoing, ABS-CBN News</div>DUBAI — Xiaomi Corp’s POCO brand is eyeing gamers with its new flagship POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro phones.POCO F6 runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Its WildBoost Optimization 3.0 feature promises to give gamers smoother gameplay by making the phone more responsive.The phone has a 6.67-inch screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Flow AMOLED DotDisplay. It is made of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, which makes it scratch- and drop-resistant.The phone has a 5000 mAh battery and comes with a 90W wall charger, which the company said can recharge its battery from 2 percent to full capacity in 30 minutes.The POCO F6 comes in 2 variants: 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, or 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.At the launch of the new phones at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, POCO Global Head of Product Marketing Angus Ng said he and his team played Genshin Impact and PUBG to test the phones&#x27; capabilities.&quot;Elite performance has always been our top priority,&quot; said Ng.Beyond the gamer-friendly specs, however, the POCO F6 also comes with a 50MP triple camera setup. Xiaomi said the camera comes with a Sony IMX882 sensor, which lets in more light and improves photo quality.The 8GB+256GB version sells for P21,999 but can be bought from Shopee at P17,599 from May 23 to 30. The 12GB+512GB variety, meanwhile, costs P24,999. Early birds can get it for P21,199.  Customers can of course get more discounts by using their vouchers.The POCO F6 is available in black, green, and titanium. <div>POCO F6 Pro</div>The POCO F6 Pro, meanwhile, comes with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, which means users will conveniently have all their apps, games and media in one gadget.It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which means faster processing for the phone. Just like the POCO F6, its screen has a 120Hz refresh rate, giving mobile gamers seamless gameplay.The POCO FR6 Pro boasts of a 120W HyperCharge wall adapter, which takes the phone’s 5000mAh battery from 2 percent to 100 percent capacity in 19 minutes.The POCO F6 Pro’s camera also has a Light Fusion 800 image sensor, which makes pictures clearer and gives them more vibrant colors.Aside from the 16GB+1TB variant, the POCO F6 Pro is available in 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. The 16GB+1TB costs P32,999, while the 12GB+512GB is at P28,999. The 12GB+256GB, meanwhile, sells for P26,999.But the phones can be bought at P30,799, P26,199, and P24,499 respectively at the exclusive early bird sale on Lazada from May 23-30.The POCO F6 Pro comes in black and white.<div>POCO launches first ever tablet</div>Aside from the two phones, POCO also launched its first-ever tablet. The POCO Pad has a 12.1-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2.5K resolution.The POCO Pad runs on a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, boosted by the HyperOS operating system, so users can enjoy playing games and watching videos. It also has quad speakers supported by Dolby Atmos.The tablet also has a HomeScreen+ feature that lets users share content between their tablet and phone by simply turning on their Bluetooth and WiFi connections.The POCO Pad has a 10,000 mAh battery and 33W fast charger. It can also be used with a keyboard and a smart pen. It has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.The POCO Pad comes in grey or blue, and can be bought for P15,999. Early birds can by it on Shopee for P14,199.
