Globe restores service in 'Aghon'-hit areas

In a statement, the telco giant said call, text and data services have been fully restored in Albay, Batangas, Camarines Norte, Cavite, Marinduque, Masbate, Palawan and Romblon.

Restoration is also almost complete in Camarines Sur, Laguna and Quezon, and is ongoing in Mindoro.

Globe also said it will offer free call and charging stations in other typhoon-hit ares once it is safe to do so. 

According to state weather bureau PAGASA, Aghon was seen 315 km east of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan at 4 a.m. on May 28.

It has 130 k/mh winds and gusts of up to 150 km/h. It is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility Wednesday  afternoon or evening.
