MANILA --  The Jollibee Group on Friday said its net income attributable to equity holders of the parent company climbed 26.9 percent in the first quarter of 2024.

The fast food giant said revenue grew 11.3 percent, while system-wide sales climbed 10.4 percent to P86.8 billion.

Jollibee's net income reached P8.8 billion in 2023.

The company said it wants to expand the Jollibee brand internationally in 2024, including expanding exponentially in China. The company also said it wants to grow its coffee and tea business. 

Jollibee said it has invested in Botrista, Inc. which will give commercial and strategic synergies with its coffee and tea brands.
