Some passengers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 came prepared for the scheduled power interruption until 3 a.m. Thursday.The affected passengers were advised to check-in their baggage as early as 8 p.m. Some areas experienced a very short power interruption that only lasted minutes.Jean Jawom, a passenger en route to Butuan City, said she checked-in her baggage early to prevent any inconvenience during the power interruption.“Ine-expect nila na maraming magche-check in na pasahero so before pa mangyari ang interruption o magkaroon ng delay, nagkaroon na sila ng abiso para aware ang mga naghihintay ng flight nila,” said Jawom.Bea Diane Magno, meanwhile, said they did not experience any delays or any inconvenience during the short power interruption.Magno, who just accompanied her sister traveling to Cotabato, was happy that the power interruption was only short, noting that should this last for hours in the future, it could pose risks to passengers.“Hindi naman nakakatakot (brownout). Pero mayroon lang talaga na kapag madilim, hindi mo maiiwan ang gamit mo tsaka baka hindi mo malaman na may naiwan ka na pala.
