MANILA -- Philex Mining Corporation's first half core net income went down to P410 million from P702 million in the same period last year.

The company said gold prices from April to June were higher at $2,008 per ounce, against the $1,937 per ounce same period in Q2023, but slightly lower than the $2,061 in the first quarter.
