MANILA — The Department of Budget and Management on Tuesday said it approved the release of additional P5 billion to pay overdue grants of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries.

The amount is meant to fully cover 4Ps grants in arrears for the fiscal year 2023, which resulted in the deactivation or suspension of 4Ps beneficiaries to around 703,888 households, the DBM said in a statement.
