The world&#x27;s top smartphone vendor announced in Seoul the midrange Galaxy A7, which features three cameras in the rear. Samsung said the A7 has an 8MP 120° ultra wide lens, a 24MP main lens and a third 5 MP camera that gauges depth. The Korean electronics giant said the A7&#x27;s triple lens system allows for better effects. Like most mid-tier and high end phones today, the A7 also features AI, which allows the camera to categorize its subject and adjust the color, contrast and brightness to instantly optimize image quality . The Galaxy A7 also has a 6-inch AMOLED FHD display with a 1080 x 2220 resolution, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of storage, and a 3,300mAh battery. Samsung is so far the only other major smartphone maker to bring three lenses into its main shooter. Unlike the P20 Pro and the iPhone XS, the Galaxy A7&#x27;s price point puts it in the midrange category. While the P20 Pro retails for around P50,000, the 2017 version of the A7 retailed for around P17,000. The Galaxy A7 will be available in three colors, namely blue, black and gold.
