#HalalanResults: Valenzuela City’s Bong Go fails in mayoral bid

<p>MANILA—Sitting pretty in third place in the senatorial race with more than 19 million votes, it&#x27;s safe to say that there&#x27;s a lot of people who know just who Bong Go is. But it appears the same can&#x27;t be said for his namesake in Valenzuela city.</p><p>The mysterious man&#x27;s inclusion in the mayoral race has more than just a few voters scratching their heads, with even the city&#x27;s official <a href="https://twitter.com/valenzuelacity/status/1127959173952466944">Twitter account</a> acknowledging confusion.</p><p>The Bong Go who went against eventual runaway winner, NPC&#x27;s Rex Gatchalian, is Antonio Go. </p><p>His campaign centered on his tagline &quot;Go Serbisyo, Valenzuela, Aasenso,&quot; based on his <a href="https://www.facebook.com/antonio.go.528/posts/2423164657716096">Facebook posts</a>.
