An Australian weather presenter calmly paused his broadcast after suffering a panic attack live on air on Tuesday.

Nate Byrne, the weather presenter on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s (ABC) News Breakfast show, was reporting on weather in Queensland and northern New South Wales when he asked to stop and hand over to his News Breakfast colleague Lisa Millar.

He later resumed the breakfast broadcast.

Byrne has previously written a story about his experience and history of panic attacks.
