15 scenes of Narda, Brian, Regina and Noah’s love square that adds tension in Mars Ravelo’s Darna

Apart from enthralling action, Mars Ravelo’s Darna also presents an exciting love angle, with two girls and two boys playing the game of romance. There’s Regina (Janella Salvador), who is obsessed with Brian (Joshua Garcia), who has special feelings for Narda (Jane de Leon), who is dating Noah (Paolo Gumabao). Not to mention, some fans ship Narda and Regina, too.

Although we know who the lead characters are, the actors are so good at playing out their complicated love scenario that sometimes it's hard to decide who must end up with whom. Check out their ‘love square’ in this edition of Kapamilya Toplist.

The video opens with Regina talking with Brian over the phone, jealous because he is driving Narda home. Tension was felt. Regina knew what she wants, but Brian and Narda didn’t, chalking up their concern and quirkiness with each other to mere friendship.

Brian and Narda’s ‘asaran’ is adorable to us viewers but never to Regina, who couldn’t hide her jealous bouts upon catching the duo's light-hearted moment in the hospital. The love triangle was getting serious at this point. Things even got more complicated when Noah stepped into the picture, aggravating his deep-rooted rivalry with Brian.

Drama kicked in when Narda gave the ex-bully Noah a chance to redeem himself while Brian couldn’t accept the olive branch. There was a scene where Brian dropped by Mayor Zaldy (Simon Ibarra)’s home, clueless about Narda and Noah having an intimate dinner there. Mayor Zaldy invited him to join them, and so the rival guys had glaring stares and angst for dessert. Brian complained about the blunt knife in a manner Noah could taste his bitterness. As if fate was playing tricks on them, the guys visited the Custodios at the same time in another scene.

Brian warned Narda not to be gullible over Noah’s possible goody-goody act, saying the mayor’s son might be playing with her feelings along with other girls. For Narda, it sounded like an insult, as if she is not attractive enough to get suitors. Their friendship was all the more put to the test by Regina’s aggressiveness toward Brian.

Regina kissed Brian and told Narda about it, as well as her wish to court the staunch cop. How did Narda react? She was surprised and jealous, but of course, she wouldn’t admit it. Sometimes they would engage in double dates that are nothing but awkward since Narda and Brian have something for each other, which Regina and Noah try to dismiss.

The appearance of Brian’s clone added spice to the story as Regina finally got the romantic attention she was craving, leaving Narda confused. Regina and Brian became a couple but only until the imposter was brought back to his enigmatic world inside a mirror. During the rescue scene, Brian was so happy he embraced Narda – in front of Regina, who felt like a loser.

Narda and Brian knew they have to tell their ‘suitors’ that friendship is all they could offer them. Narda also told Regina that she kissed Brian back, but instead of owning her feelings, she made a big sacrifice and let her best friend have Brian, although the latter had made his choice as well.

Even with the hurtful rejections and friendships on the line, Regina and Noah will stop at nothing to convince Brian and Narda to love them back. In the final scene in this video montage, the quartet chanced on each other in the hospital where Noah is confined after Valentina (Janella Salvador)’s attack. Brian went there to interrogate the victim, while Narda was compelled to look after Noah since the incident happened after his visit to the Custodios. Regina, in an attempt to make Brian jealous, stressed that Noah was attacked after visiting the Custodios and that it is so sweet of Narda to act like Noah’s personal nurse.
