Jane De Leon gives a glimpse of normal life, answers questions about herself in first vlog

Around a week before we get to see her fly as the new Darna in the upcoming <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/darna">Mars Ravelo’s Darna</a>, Jane de Leon launched her eponymous YouTube channel and also released her first vlog last August 7, wherein she gave us a glimpse of her normal life outside showbiz.She started off the video by amiably greeting the viewers, “Hi! Ako nga pala si Jane de Leon. Gusto kitang makilala at sana makilala n’yo rin ako. Alam ko naman na madalas n’yo akong nakikita sa TV, sa movies, and social media. And right now, I’m so excited to share my life behind the scenes with you, guys. So, this is it. This is, Your Jane.”The promising actress went on to impart how she didn’t expect herself to go back to vlogging since she’s not really keen to do so. But, she was cut off by their driver Kuya Jun, who hollered her to relay her Mommy Hearty’s order for her to go to the grocery. She willingly obliged, yet decided to feed her 14 cats while showing off her snazzy dance moves to the camera before proceeding to her errand that morning.While on their way, Jane showed off her inner kakulitan through her funny conversation with Kuya Jun and her adorable expressions and mannerisms to which we could surely relate with. They may have to go back home because she forgot her receipts, but that seemed to be a blessing in disguise as it allowed her to fill her empty stomach with a cup of hot taho. After her grocery run, Jane then proceeded on responding to some of the questions sent by her followers on Instagram in the previous days. The first question she picked was “Sino si Jane in real life?”, to which she described herself as an ambivert, since she’s initially an introvert towards people she just met and could be an extrovert once she gets close to them, as well as selfless, because she finds joy in helping her family, friends, and other people in any way she can. She also labelled herself independent and boyish.With regards to her ganaps when not at work, she disclosed that she spends quality time with her family and pets, goes grocery shopping, has her “me” time, works out, and does movie marathon.When asked “Sobrang perfect mo ba talaga?”, Jane couldn’t help but giggle and utter “what a question”. She conveyed that she’s not a perfect daughter, sister, artist, woman, single lady, nor person in general for she has her own share of flaws, shortcomings, and hardships in life. Instead, everything she went through in life made her a better person.She also affirmed that whatever we see in social media is the same Jane in real life. However, those photos aren’t enough to fully express herself, that’s why she decided to put up a YouTube channel wherein people could see the real her through her vlogs.For the most important part of her life, the 23-year-old actress said that it would be her experiences. “Siguro ang pinaka-importante sa life ko, parte ng buhay ko I mean, is ‘yong mga napagdaanan ko simula bata pa ako. Kasi hindi naman po ako mapupunta sa posisyon na ‘to kung hindi ko po napagdaanan lahat ng ‘yon. And sobrang thankful po ako kay Lord na naka-survive po ako kasi everything has a reason. Always remember that kapag nahihirapan po kayo,” she stated.Then she went on to share her favorite Bible verse, Philippians 4:6, which says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” According to her, it reminds her that whatever challenges she may go through in life, she’s certain that she can overcome those because her family, friends, and God will always be there for her.Jane capped off the vlog by thanking the viewers for watching it up to the last second and asking everyone to bear with her since she’s still shy and nervous.
