While she usually displayed her game face on as the emergency medical technician (EMT), Narda, and as the mighty superheroine in the recently-concluded Mars Ravelo’s Darna, Jane de Leon unleashed her funny, witty, and playful side during her guesting recently in an episode of CineMo’s comedy talk show “GG-HAN,” hosted by gregarious comedians Nonong Balinan and James Caraan.

Dressed up as iconic Pinoy superheroes Darna and Captain Barbell respectively, Nonong and James asked Jane random questions regarding her Darna stint and bantered with her. The interview started off with a little kumustahan, wherein she imparted that she actually sustained injuries and wounds while filming, to the point that she had to be rushed to the emergency room. But she simply shrugged those off because it was part of the job.

Moving on to the “Bash Daily” segment, the hosts read some of the nasty comments about her that were posted on Twitter and let her reply to each one. But instead of getting offended, the 24-year-old actress just laughed those off and made fun of their comments.

As one of the bashers pointed out how she was seemingly panting during her interview in Tonight With Boy Abunda, she gamely responded to it while pretending to be wheezing and describing how was it working with her co-stars Janella Salvador and Joshua Garcia. According to her, even though all of them are introverts, she really had fun working them as they also have their makulit sides, especially her leading man.

For the last segment, titled “Choose Your Bottle,” Jane picked the bottle that contain the question: “Ano ang mas mahirap kalabanin: Ang mga ‘Extras’ o ang mga ‘extra comments’ ng tao against you?” And for Jane, it’s still the “extras” or the villains in Mars Ravelo’s Darna.

“’Yong mga extra pa rin kasi siyempre, kailangan kong ipagtanggol ‘yong mga tao and, of course, ‘yong mga mahal ko sa buhay. ‘Yong mga comments kasi parang hindi na ako apektado. Sanay na sanay na kasi ako,” she replied, and jestingly continued, “‘Yong mga pamilya ko kasi, mga bashers e. Doon pa lang wala na talaga, gulpi na gulpi na ako.”

With how she bravely confronted the bashers’ “extra comments”, Jane can be considered a superheroine in real life!
